Full capacity market leader

China Steel is currently the market leader in the production of high grade nickel pig iron in China.

Many nickel pig iron producers in China have been shut down by the Chinese government since August 2007 which has caused substantial demand pressure on remaining producers like China Steel.

Growth opportunity

The Company is currently undertaking a four fold expansion of its production capacity and expects significant increase in revenues, profitability and free cash flow over coming 24 months.

Access to coke plant and transportation facilities

Coke is one of the main raw materials used by China Steel in the production of nickel pig iron. China Steel's Linyi Plant is located near several large scale coke plants, giving the company an added advantage in terms of supply and lead time. Major transportation facilities are also in close proximity enabling a reduction in the cost of production.

Superior Environment Standards

China Steel has met the environment standards set by the Chinese government and has been issued a letter of certification from the Linyi Bureau of Environmental Protection in 2007.

WOFE status with Steel Mill Business Activity

China Steel currently holds a steel and alloy mill business licence valid till 2019. The Chinese Government has restricted the issue of these licenses particularly to new or foreign owned enterprises.

Linyi Yilida Steel is a wholly foreign owned enterprise (WFOE) and enjoys full and then partial income tax relief over a five year period.
